Alloy 310 is stainless steel that is austenitic in nature is developed for use at the applications demanding for the high-temperature corrosion resistance. This alloy is resisting oxidation under the mildly cyclic condition to 2010 Deg F. Due to high chromium and average nickel content, this alloy is resisting sulfidation and can be used at the averagely carburizing atmospheres. The high severe carburizing atmosphere of the equipment of the thermal process usually needs nickel like 330.
Alloy 310 is used at little bit nitriding, cementing, oxidizing and at the thermal cyclic condition. Also, this alloy has found usability at cryogenic applications with the less magnetic permeability as well as toughness down to the temperature ranging -450 Deg F. When this alloy is heated, it becomes subjective to sigma phase precipitations. Alloy 310S is the alloy low carbon version and is used due to fabrication ease.
Quality assurance of the product-
The testing and inspection for quality check are conducted to only check product quality and supply the high quality of product to the buyers. At every stage of the production process, the quality check is done by the third party inspection agency based on a few set parameters so no poor quality of product delivering is done. Few tests conducted is like positive material identification test, hardness test, chemical test, intergranular corrosion test, mechanical test, visual inspection, etc.
Packaging-
In order to deliver the Stainless steel 310 / 310S Condensate Pots without causing any harm, the packaging is done into environmental poly bags and in plywood cases and carton boxes.
